Get Started!

Training for the Sole Sisters Women’s 5K and Sole Sisters Women’s Quarter & Half Marathon + 5K is FREE.

There’s no better way to get ready for Sole Sisters, than to train with Sole Sisters!

We host our SOCIALS leading up to each event, both within the Halifax Regional Municipality and across Atlantic Canada. ON THE ROAD SOCIALS take place all over the Maritimes, and in the past have included Yarmouth, Cape Breton, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island!

Training Schedule & Sole Sister Socials
We want all Sole Sisters to consider August 13th as the time to return to training, or a time to start thinking ahead to the fall race if they never stopped training (good for you!). We started our SOCIALS last August and they were sparsely attended so this season we are going to wait and simply offer you more chances to be SOCIAL in September. Go big or go home right?

Sole Sisters SOCIALS happen twice a week in September 2017. So hold 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays to get SOCIAL with us. We are at Graham’s Grove in Dartmouth on Tuesdays and in Halifax on Thursdays meeting in front of Lululemon.

We all start WALKING or RUNNING together at 6pm but it is up to you to decide how long you want to be SOCIAL. A good rule of thumb for our SOCIALS is to plan to be with us for 30-60 minutes of exercise and lots of conversation. We will answer your questions about Sole Sisters and if we can offer your support and help with other questions.

Tuesday, September 5th – meet in the parking lot of 45 Graham’s Grove (across from the Superstore) in Dartmouth at 6pm.

Thursday, September 7th – meet in front of Lululemon at 5490 Spring Garden Road, Halifax at 6pm (one person at the SOCIAL leaves with Lulu swag!).

Tuesday, September 12th – meet in the parking lot of 45 Graham’s Grove (across from the Superstore) in Dartmouth at 6pm.

Thursday, September 14th – meet in front of Lululemon at 5490 Spring Garden Road, Halifax at 6pm (one person at the SOCIAL leaves with Lulu swag!).

Tuesday, September 19th – meet in the parking lot of 45 Graham’s Grove (across from the Superstore) in Dartmouth at 6pm.

Thursday, September 21st – meet in front of Lululemon at 5490 Spring Garden Road, Halifax at 6pm (one person at the SOCIAL leaves with Lulu swag!).

Tuesday, September 26th – meet in the parking lot of 45 Graham’s Grove (across from the Superstore) in Dartmouth at 6pm.

Thursday, September 28th– meet in front of Lululemon at 5490 Spring Garden Road, Halifax at 6pm (one person at the SOCIAL leaves with Lulu swag!). AND EVERYONE is invited to an AFTER-THE-SOCIAL-SHOPPING-PARTY… details to come!

And after all this training, you get to celebrate with you race on Sunday, October 1st.
